Younger Children and Early Elementary
Day 14
ACTIVITY: Go outside and walk/run around your house seven times and then scream and make a big noise. Say: this reminds me of a story.
READ: The warrior leader: Joshua and the battle of Jericho, from Joshua 3 & 6, p. 108-115.
ACTIVITY for younger children: build a circular wall and then knock it down after walking around it.
ORNAMENT IDEAS: Hang an instrument that makes noise on the tree, a toy trumpet, sticks, shaker, or roll up paper in a cone shape to look like a megaphone.
This ornament reminds us that God’s plans work, even when they seem a bit crazy!
Parents Share: What crazy ways has God worked in your life?
Older Elementary
Day 14
READ: p.189-201, “A New Leader”, “The Roof of Rahab”, “Entering the Promised Land” & “The Walls of Jericho”.

ORNAMENT IDEAS: Hang an instrument that makes noise on the tree, a toy trumpet, sticks, shaker, or roll up paper in a cone shape to look like a megaphone.
This ornament reminds us that God’s plans work, even when they seem a bit crazy!
