Younger Children and Early Elementary
Day 32
ACTIVITY: Make dinner (breakfast or lunch) together. Then wonder how many people it will feed. Is it enough to feed all the people in the church? Our story today is about a time when Jesus took a little food and made it a lot.
READ: Filled Full!: The Feeding of the 5,000, from Matthew 14, Mark 6, Luke 9, p.244-249.
Reflect: What little things do you want to give Jesus to have him bless and grow?
ORNAMENT IDEA: A small basket with play food – bread and fish, or draw a picture of the basket and 5 loaves and 2 fish.
This ornament reminds us that making nothing something is God’s specialty.
