What Are Faithful Families -Milestone Classes?
Faithful Families Milestone Classes and events are the primary way the church supports families with ideas for fun spiritually forming times in everyday life.
The classes and events also provide resources to equip parents/grandparents to be the spiritual leaders in their homes so they may confidently create the environments to foster their children ongoing spiritual growth.
All Ages
Do you feel overwhelmed with the thought of adding one more thing to your lives - but also long to intentionally nurture your children's faith?
The GROW event will show parents and caregivers how to take simple everyday activities that fit easily into your life rhythms and make them a meaningful part of spiritual parenting.
GROW Family Advent
Nov. 20, 2026 | 5:00 p.m.
A wonderful event for families, with resources to worship together at home during the Thanksgiving and advent seasons. Registration is required.
GROW Family Lenten
Feb. 7, 2027 | 11:30 a.m.
Families will gather at 11:30 for lunch, and then prepare for Lent at home.
A Lenten devotion book and journals will be provided. Registration is required.
Preschool
Infants - New Baby Visit
Members of the Faith at Home team will drop off a Faith at Home resource package.
Baptism
Nov. 1, 2026 | 11:30 a.m.
Learn the meaning of baptism and how to celebrate and remember this faith milestone. A prerequisite for an infant/child baptism.
Nursery - Blessing Your Children

Explore and practice how to bless your child everyday. A simple act that has great power to connect children and parents to God.
Three year olds - Discover God's Word
Nov. 1, 2026 | 10:30 a.m.
This class explains how parents can continue teaching the Bible at home. Children receive new Bible and learn how to use it.
Four year olds - Discover God's Word

This class explains how parents can continue teaching the Bible at home. Children receive a new Bible and learn how to use it.
Young Five's & Kindergarten - How to Pray
Feb. 7, 2027 | 10:30 a.m.
Parents and children learn fun ways to share prayer time together and develop their own prayer life.
First to Third Grade
First Grade - How to... Family Devotions
April 11, 2027 | 10:30 a.m.
This class offers practical, hands on ideas and resources to help lead family devotions at home.
Second Grade - Acts of Worship
March 7, 2027 | 10:30 a.m.
Learn about the sacraments of the church: Baptism and Communion and the meaning and importance behind the different parts of worship.
Third Grade - Bible Class
Oct. 18, 2026 | 11:30 a.m. & Oct. 25, 2026 | 10:30 a.m.
This event happens over the course of two Sundays. The first Sunday parents and their children meet for a meal, games, and learning about the Bible. Children will make Bible covers while parents write messages to their children in the Bibles. The second Sunday, Bibles are presented to the children during the 10:30 a.m. service.
Fourth to Sixth Grade
Fourth Grade - Family Service Project

Parents and children learn the importance of service and plan a service project together.
Fifth Grade - Money and Me

Parents and children explore together how to honor God with our money, in our gifts to God, to others, and our daily choices.
Sixth Grade - Technology & Media
Feb. 21, 2027 | 10:30 a.m.
Offers parents and 6th graders practical ideas and resources to help the family navigate technology and media.
