Young Children and Early Elementary
Day 18
READ: A little servant girl and the proud general; The little slave girl and Namaan, from 2Kings 5, p.135-143.
ACTIVITY: For younger ones: draw a picture of Namaan with spots of leprosy and a second picture with them all gone.
For older children: talk about the pride they have in their hearts and ask God to clean their hearts by removing the pride like he did for Namaan.
ORNAMENT IDEAS: Band-aid and ointment or gauze, or a heart with a band-aid on it.
This ornament reminds us that God brings healing to our bodies, but more importantly to our hearts.
