Younger Children and Early Elementary
Day 39
ACTIVITY: Jesus had a favorite quiet place to pray – the Garden of Gethsemane. Look around your house and yard. Pick a place that can be your special place to pray. Make a sign to let other people in your family know you need quiet time to pray. Pray in your place.
READ: A dark night in the garden: The Garden of Gethsemane, from Luke 22, Mark 14, John 18, p.294-301.
ORNAMENT IDEAS: A sword, a toy or a picture of a sword, etc.
This ornament reminds us of how Jesus was taken from his place of prayer.
