Fitness Classes
Fitness Fusion
Mondays & Fridays 8:45 a.m. | Sept. 8 - Dec. 19 (No Class Nov. 24)
For Adults
Fitness Punch Card Class | $10 per class drop-in

Fitness Fusion combines aerobic and muscular endurance training with mobility and core exercises. While the format and exercises may differ each week, participants can expect little bits of cardio dance, cardio kickboxing, and light weight lifting to uplifting music. Each session will also include functional mobility exercises and exercises that will strengthen your core.
​
While modifications will be made to fit most fitness levels, participants can expect standing exercises as well as exercises that go to the floor. Exercises will occasionally include impact movements, such as jumping, but modifications will be provided
Monday & Friday classes will be identical and are intended for more flexibility with attendee's schedules. ​

Prayerful Stretching & Mobility
Thursdays 10:00 a.m. | Sept. 11 - Oct. 23
For Seniors and Adults

Prayerful Stretching & Mobility is an opportunity to connect, pray, worship and surrender. Join us for 45 minutes of intentional, guided mobility and stretching exercises rooted in prayerful worship and adoration of our Savior. Our goal is to leave this class feeling physically and spiritually renewed in His grace. We will utilize a combination of banded active stretches, foam rolling movements, and traditional static stretches as we pray, sing (totally optional) and worship Christ.

While movements will occur primarily on the ground, some standing exercises will occur. Modifications will be provided for the participants wanting to use a chair, but initial instruction will occur on the ground.

Senior Fitness Classes
Senior Strong in Jesus Fitness Bible Study
Mondays 10:15 a.m. | Sept. 8 - Dec. 15 (No Class Nov. 24)
For Seniors

Life is busy and it can be challenging to make time for Bible study and exercise on any given day. Remove the stress of feeling like you aren’t able to do both and join us as we combine a 25 minute Bible Study focusing on the strong characters of the Bible with a 35 minute full body strength workout (tailored to beginners/seniors), finishing our time with 15 minutes of meditation, mobility, and the Psalms.
Exercises can be done with or without weights. Weights will be provided by Huron River Methodist.​
While modifications will be made to fit most fitness levels, participants can expect standing exercises as well as exercises that go to the floor. Exercises will occasionally include impact movements, such as jumping, but modifications will be provided.​

This class will include non-impact exercises from the standing or seated position. No exercises will go to the ground. Chairs will be used for some exercises, but will be optional for other exercises.

Senior Strength & Mobility
Wednesdays 10:30 a.m. | Sept. 10 - Dec. 17 (No Class Nov. 26)

Strength & Mobility is a class about strengthening your body and improving your range of motion. We begin to lose muscle mass after the age of 30 if we do not intentionally work to maintain or increase it. Strength training is also vital for bone health as it can greatly reduce the rate at which we lose bone density. Mobility is our ability to move freely and easily and also needs intentional work to maintain or increase. Join us for a fun, organized strength and mobility training workout to keep your body strong and moving at its best.​​​
