The Edge
Welcome to The Edge, our ministry designed for specifically for 5th through 12th grade students! It includes a student led band, practical teaching, and guided discipleship groups (D-Groups).
​
We meet in our youth building "The Edge", as it's on the edge of the property.
​
We also have Sunday School, Mission Trips, Bible Studies, retreats and much more.
​
We hope you'll come in and check out The Edge, connect with friends, mentors, and, most importantly, Jesus; and carry out your faith into the world and your life when you leave high school.

Youth Golf Outing

We are relaunching our Annual Youth Golf Outing! Below you can find forms for team sign up and sponsorship.
D-Groups
​
D-Groups (discipleship) are for each grade and broken out by guys and girls. Groups meet on Sunday nights to discuss the talk and faith! Each group is led by trained, caring adult leaders who aim to lead their groups throughout all their years at the Edge. Our hope is that students will grow in their faith just as they grow in stature. Students may join a D-Group any time throughout the year and they are open to everyone (it’s not a ‘Members Only’ club).

Meet Our Youth Ministry Directors
Joy Hook
Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries
I truly love my job, and love working with all students as well as college age students! God is on the move at the Edge, and I'm blessed that I get to oversee this program. I do not believe there is a better community where students can come in, learn about faith, and be supported in their walks with Christ. This is the church I grew up in, and I am so blessed to work here alongside people who showed me what a follower of Christ looks like.
Fun Fact: I can speak 3 languages!

Matthew Cook
Associate Director of Youth Ministry
Youth Ministry holds a special place in my heart because it's where my faith really came alive. While I enjoy all the fun things we do in Youth Ministry, my favorite part of my job is watching the Bible come alive in our students' lives. While I primarily work with our 5th through 8th graders, I love spending time with all the youth here at the church. I enjoy playing all sorts of games, and when I'm not here, you can usually find me playing games with my wife, Kara, or out for a walk with my dog.
Fun Fact: I have an identical twin brother.
