Co-Ed Flag Football Clinic

$20 per participant
Athletes can expect a morning of faith, fun, teamwork and football as they travel through skills stations, engage with an age-appropriate devotional, practice with their team and play in the closing game. We strive to provide an encouraging and upbeat atmosphere where kids feel comfortable and confident to use the athleticism God gave them to glorify Him through the game of football.
Athletes should bring a white and a black shirt along with a water bottle, athletic shoes and football/soccer cleats (if owned and wanted). Please make sure your athlete brings separate athletic shoes for stations that may occur in the gym.
Co-Ed Flag Football Drop-in Saturday Games
May 16 & 23 | 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
For current 1st-4th Graders
Join Next Step Rec as we host drop-in flag football games during the month of May. While athletes are encouraged to attend our flag football clinic, everyone is welcome to participate in one, two, or three weeks of drop-in games. An emphasis will be placed on teamwork, sportsmanship, coachability, encouragement, and kindness. Kids will be split into teams each week, based on grade level (1st & 2nd grade/3rd & 4th grade) and participate in 30 minutes of practice before the games begin. While this is a free event for the community, registration is required (like for Nerf Night). A limited number of participants will be accepted each week.
Athletes should bring a white and a black shirt along with a water bottle and athletic shoes/football/soccer cleats.

Next Step Rec Basketball Camp is not your typical basketball camp. Instruction of fundamental skills intertwined with important intangible qualities will develop character as much as basketball in your athlete. Each day will focus on an important Biblical characteristic such as humility, integrity, and patience. Bible verses will be sprinkled throughout the sessions to encourage athletes to work hard and stay positive. Students will engage in plyometric, speed, and agility training in addition to traditional ball handling, passing, shooting and defensive drills. Age-appropriate fundamental games and contests will further the development of skills while athletes have fun competing with one another. Team game play will capstone the lessons learned throughout the week.
Each athlete should bring a basketball and water bottle labeled with their name and supportive, clean athletic shoes to wear.
Coached by Next Step Rec Director Katherine Kuzma along with current and former high school Basketball Players
